Earlier this year, Yankee Candle® announced its expansion into Canada, one of Newell Brands’ top geographical markets. The decision reflects our corporate strategy, which prioritizes distorting investment to our top brands and geographies, brand-building and go-to-market excellence.

Now consumers will have multiple channels to purchase their favorite scents in-store and online."
Our Canadian Yankee Candle team is already making waves in the local market. A recent study they conducted revealed that 45 percent of Canadians felt less holiday spirit. To combat this trend and raise awareness of Yankee Candle’s availability in Canada, the team brought the magic of our iconic Yankee Candle Village in South Deerfield, MA, across the border to a pop-up activation at Yonge and Dundas Square in Toronto. The three-paneled glass truck was full of Yankee Candle products, and consumers were invited to smell and select a favorite fragrance (Pink Sands, Christmas Cookie, Balsam & Cedar, Sage & Citrus, Midsummer's Night, and Sparkling Cinnamon) to bring home. Survey results from the event revealed that 95 percent of attendees felt more joyful after visiting the activation, improving their holiday spirit.
Canadian consumers can now shop for their favorite Yankee Candle products at retailers like Canadian Tire, Staples Canada, London Drugs, Save on Foods, Lawtons Drugs, well.ca and Amazon.ca.
