Newell Brands and the Newell Brands Charitable Foundation are proud to announce our 2024 Local Impact Grant recipients. Our Local Impact Grant Program (LIGP) is a unique initiative that allows employees in select Newell Brands locations around the world to nominate and vote on nonprofits aligned with our focus areas to receive a grant. The organizations we support do important work to educate future generations and provide opportunities for underserved youth, fight against hunger and end food insecurity, advocate for children and keep them free from harm and better our environment and outdoor spaces.
We are also thrilled to share that we have achieved our goal of contributing $1 million to the communities in which we operate through this program. Since its inception in 2019, we have proudly supported 86 nonprofits, including 20 multi-year recipients in 30 communities around the world.
