Newell Brands and the Newell Brands Charitable Foundation are proud to announce our fifth annual Local Impact Grant Program (LIGP) winners. This year, we awarded nearly $200,000 in grants to 26 nonprofits.
In the U.S., employees in participating locations nominated local nonprofits for consideration and those who qualified submitted grant applications. Employees then could vote for the winners in locations with more than three strong options. We also expanded the program internationally, selecting nonprofits our local teams had relationships with, and employees voted on them.
